My Approach
As a therapist-in-training, I bring a grounded, compassionate presence to my work with clients. I am currently completing a Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology at Yorkville University and am honoured to walk alongside individuals as they navigate life’s challenges and inner landscapes.
My therapeutic approach is rooted in empathy, curiosity, and the belief that the answers often lie within us. At times, we simply need a supportive presence to help illuminate the path. Life naturally brings moments of disconnection from our core values and sense of self. In therapy, we are invited to pause, reflect, and realign. What truly matters to you? What do you value, and how do those values show up in your daily life? Small, intentional changes can lead to profound and lasting transformation.
I have a particular interest in supporting individuals experiencing trauma—something many of us carry in various forms—as well as those navigating life transitions, depression, anxiety, grief, and the integration of expanded states of consciousness. Whether you are moving through a time of change, processing a loss, or seeking meaning after a transformative experience, I offer a warm, non-judgmental space to explore what’s unfolding. My approach is relational, strengths- based, and intuitive—guided by the belief that healing emerges when we feel safe enough to be seen and heard.
If you are seeking a therapeutic space where you will be met with acceptance, presence, and care, I would be honoured to support you on your journey.
My Story
I was born and raised in the Niagara region of Ontario, on the traditional lands of the Haudenosaunee, which include the Seneca, Cayuga, Onondaga, Oneida, and Mohawk nations. I completed my undergraduate degree in Biology at Queen’s University and spent over 15 years building a successful career in corporate leadership in Toronto. Over time, I felt increasingly disconnected and caught in a cycle of achievement and external validation that left me feeling unfulfilled.
This led me to pivot toward more meaningful work. I moved to the Kootenays, where I worked at a healing retreat centre and began my graduate training in counselling psychotherapy. I am passionate about helping others make sustainable, life-affirming changes and am committed to walking alongside those who seek greater fulfillment, clarity, and connection.
From a young age, I’ve felt called to listen deeply and support others in their healing. My own wellness journey has included navigating trauma, emotional hardship, spiritual seeking, and eventually, a profound personal transformation through traditional Amazonian plant medicine. This work reshaped my life in ways I could never have imagined. I bring over a decade of experience with integration work in this realm and hold deep respect for the complexities of expanded states of consciousness.
Through my pain and suffering, ultimately came great beauty and joy. I believe wholeheartedly in the capacity of every person to heal.– I have seen it over and over again. My path now includes sharing what I’ve learned, offering care, giving back to my community, and continually learning from those around me.
