My Approach & Story
I take a person-centred, trauma-informed, and integrative approach to counselling. I believe healing happens within a supportive therapeutic relationship where clients feel genuinely seen, heard, and accepted.
My work is informed by Person-Centred Therapy, Internal Family Systems (IFS), and somatic-based approaches. Together, we can explore patterns that may no longer be serving you, develop a deeper understanding of your internal experiences, and strengthen your connection to yourself.
I strive to create a space that is warm, collaborative, and non-judgmental. Whether you are navigating anxiety, trauma, burnout, relationship challenges, or major life transitions, my goal is to support you in moving toward a life that feels more grounded, authentic, and aligned with your values.
My passion for counselling grew from a deep interest in understanding people, relationships, and the ways our experiences shape who we are. Through my work in community-based mental health, crisis support, and anti-violence services, I have had the privilege of supporting individuals through some of life's most difficult moments.
These experiences have reinforced my belief in the importance of connection, compassion, and creating spaces where people feel safe enough to be themselves. I am continually inspired by the resilience I witness in others and feel honoured to walk alongside clients as they navigate challenges, heal from past experiences, and discover new ways of relating to themselves and the world around them.
