“I believe that within each of us is a natural capacity for healing, growth, and wisdom. Counselling can offer a space to slow down, become present with what is, and gently cultivate greater awareness and compassion for ourselves and our experiences. From this place of acceptance, we can begin to loosen old patterns and move toward a life that feels more authentic and meaningful.”

My Approach
I am a compassionate, curious, and intuitive practicum student counsellor who strives to create a warm, supportive, and non-judgmental space for clients to explore their experiences. My approach is grounded in the belief that meaningful change can begin with developing a deeper connection to our authentic selves and greater awareness of the patterns we may have developed to protect ourselves, including numbing, people-pleasing, and self-protection.
I am interested in supporting clients as they gently explore these patterns, cultivate greater self-awareness and self-compassion, and reconnect with their values, needs, and sense of self. My hope is to walk alongside clients as they develop a deeper understanding of themselves and move toward a life that feels more authentic, connected, and fulfilling.
My Story
My path to counselling has been shaped by a deep curiosity about what it means to be human, how we move through difficult experiences, make sense of our stories, and find our way back to ourselves.
My own life experiences have taught me that healing is rarely a straight line. There have been moments that challenged me, invited me to look inward, and led me to develop a deeper understanding of myself and the healing process. These experiences are a large part of what drew me to counselling. I believe there is something profoundly healing about being genuinely seen, heard, and accepted, and I wanted to learn how to offer that kind of space to others.
My interest in counselling grew alongside my exploration of breathwork facilitation, which introduced me to the wisdom of the body and helped me understand that healing isn't only about talking or thinking. Our bodies can hold emotions, experiences, and patterns that aren't always accessible through words. Connecting with the breath can be a powerful way to develop a deeper relationship with self, and relate differently to old material.
These experiences continue to shape the counsellor I hope to become. I see counselling as a collaborative process where you are the expert on your own life, and where I can offer curiosity, compassion, and support as you explore your experiences and what you want for yourself.
I will create a space where you feel safe enough to be honest, supported enough to explore what is difficult, and empowered to move toward greater healing, self-awareness, and connection.
