How we help

Couples therapy for wherever you are right now

Repair and reconnect

When distance or hurt has built up, we help you understand the pattern you get stuck in, rebuild trust, and find your way back to affection and intimacy.

Make a clear decision together

If one of you is leaning out, counselling gives you a structured space to talk it through without blame. You leave with a decision you can both stand behind, whether that's recommitting or separating.

Separate well and co-parent

Not every couple comes in to stay together. We help separating partners communicate respectfully, set boundaries, and build a co-parenting plan that puts the kids first.

Our approach

How our couples counsellors work

Your counsellor will draw on one or more of these approaches, depending on your needs.

The Gottman Method

Developed by Drs. John and Julie Gottman from decades of research on couples. It gives you practical tools for handling conflict, rebuilding friendship and repairing after a fight.

Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT)

Created by Dr. Sue Johnson and built on attachment research. EFT helps you see the cycle that drives your arguments, such as one partner pursuing while the other pulls away, and change it together.

Narrative therapy

Separates the problem from the people. Instead of "you're the problem," you work as a team against the pattern that's hurting you both.

Internal Family Systems (IFS)

Helps each partner understand the protective reactions that flare up in conflict, so you can respond to each other from a calmer place.
