My Approach
You don’t have to keep reliving the past to heal from it.
If you’ve been carrying the weight of old wounds, feeling on edge, stuck, or like you’re always bracing for something to go wrong, there’s a reason. Your nervous system learned how to protect you, and now it’s time to help it feel safe again.
As a trauma-informed therapist trained in EMDR and somatic approaches, I offer a safe space where you can slow down, breathe, and begin to make sense of what’s happened to you. Together, we’ll work gently with both your mind and body to release the patterns that no longer serve you. My role is to help you reconnect to your strength, rebuild trust in yourself, and move from survival to a sense of calm and inner peace.
I don’t believe in one-size-fits-all therapy. Every person’s story and healing path are different, so I tailor each session to meet you exactly where you are. EMDR can be a powerful tool in this process, it helps the brain reprocess painful memories so they lose their intensity, allowing you to feel lighter, freer, and more grounded in the present. Many of my clients describe it as finally being able to exhale after years of holding their breath.
My approach is warm, intuitive, and holistic. We’ll work together to help you soften the inner critic, let go of shame, and rediscover the parts of yourself that have been waiting to be seen, loved, and accepted.
My Story
I know how hard it can be to find your way through deep pain. After losing my oldest child, I had to learn how to rebuild my life from the ground up. Grief reshaped me, it taught me how fragile and precious life is, and how healing asks for gentleness, not perfection.
That experience gave me a deep understanding of what it means to feel lost, disconnected, or unsure of who you are anymore. But it also showed me that even in the darkest moments, there’s a quiet strength that lives inside each of us, a spark that can be rekindled.
I’ve spent years walking beside people healing from trauma, loss, anxiety, and relationship pain. I’ve supported women finding the courage to leave unsafe situations, and individuals learning to trust themselves again after years of doubt or fear. Watching people reclaim their voice, boundaries, and sense of peace is one of the greatest honours of my life.
Healing isn’t about erasing what’s happened, it’s about helping your heart, body, and mind remember that you are safe, worthy, and whole. You don’t have to face this alone. If you’re ready to start feeling more like yourself again, I’d be honoured to walk with you on that journey.
